• Earn experience points (XP), levels, and achievements through gamification features
• Create and share lists of media
• Browse and discover new content through integration with third-party APIs
• Connect with other users through social features

Media metadata is sourced from Google Books, TMDb, and IGDB APIs. We do not host or distribute copyrighted media content.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use this Service. By registering, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

3.2 Account Security

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.3 One Account Per Person

You may only create one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate gamification features, leaderboards, or abuse the service is prohibited and may result in account termination.

• Manipulate Gamification: Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to artificially inflate XP, levels, or achievements
• Circumvent Security: Bypass or attempt to bypass security measures

4.2 Content Guidelines

User-generated content (reviews, comments, lists) must not contain:

• Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Graphic violence, pornography, or sexually explicit content
• False or misleading information intentionally spread to deceive others
• Personal information of others without consent
• Commercial spam or unauthorized advertising

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on the Service ("User Content"). However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse any User Content and disclaim all liability related to User Content posted by others.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

Our Service integrates with third-party APIs to provide media metadata:

• Google Books API: Book data and cover images
• TMDb API: Movie and TV show data and images
• IGDB API: Video game data and cover art

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Attribution credits are provided where required by their terms.

7. Gamification Features

7.1 XP, Levels, and Achievements

Gamification features (XP, levels, achievements, stats) are provided for entertainment and engagement purposes only. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes.

7.2 Fair Play

Manipulation of gamification systems (using bots, creating fake accounts, exploiting bugs) is strictly prohibited and will result in:

• Removal of fraudulently earned XP and achievements
• Account suspension or termination
• Ban from leaderboards

7.3 Changes to Gamification

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any gamification features at any time without notice. This includes adjusting XP values, achievement requirements, or leaderboard calculations.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and original content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

8.2 Third-Party Content

Media metadata, images, and descriptions are sourced from third-party APIs and remain the property of their respective owners. We display this content under the terms of the respective API licenses.

8.3 Trademarks

"Mythscribe Nexus" and associated logos are our trademarks. Third-party trademarks displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harmful behavior toward other users
• Extended inactivity (accounts inactive for over 2 years may be deleted)
